Streetstyle III: The boyish jacket

Nowadays there is no clothing piece on the earth which is only worthing for the female or masculine gender. Ask Marc Jacobs how can a man wear a skirt, or all those women fitted into a tomboy suite.

The same story again: No Rules.

The boyish jacket can be a perfect complement when you need to dress elegant but casual. A very simple piece which is similar to the LBD, it's always there for any occasion, and never gets old fashioned.

We go out and we fall in love with the outfit of the girl who's sitting next to us in the subway. That's normal. We love the street style and the way every one personalizes it.

A dress or a coat is no the same worn by one or another, because we add our soul, complements and acessories. You wear it with maxi clothes, while I prefer to be into a skinny jeans. That's how it works. 

No rules. Just imagination and freedom.

Because every person makes a different style, the streets become an infinite runway.

Very simple look, but nice.

Walking the streets of Nancy

I adore to visit France. All the men and women look so elegant and stylish. They know exactly how to mix every piece.

The last week I spent a few days in Nancy, an old city (included in the UNESCO world heritage list) placed in the North of France where the buildings have a lot of history and the flowers almost talk.

Nancy is really beautiful, specially in the summer. Luckily I've found a video that shows it.

Coachella 2013 streetsyle

We all know Coachella it's more about streetsyle and fashion trends than music, but there we find every year the best flower-power outfits and this great peace and love soul wich makes it carachteristic.

What's more, some Victoria's Angels, actors, singers... they all go the most talked "music" event of the year. A kind of runway in the grass where the "what are you wearing?" becomes more important than "who are you going to listen to?"

The perfect trio, almost a must: denim shorts, square sunglasses and flowers.
