Filles a papa (hijas de papá)

Who said  belgian people were not fashionists? Sarah and Carol, two belgian sisters with studies in fashion and graphic design, decided to start a common project and they created Filles à papa.

If you're a rebel girl, a bold one, a rock'n'roll lover, and you're always looking for fresh looks... you will love this brand.

It's a quiet new firm but we've already seen some models wearing their sweaters on the street, like Jourdan Dunn.

The brand is probably the new sensation in fashion for the young girls, and Vogue Spain interviewed them some days ago. You can read the interview here (in spanish).

I personaly would define the Filles à papa clothes as a crazy mix of styles.

Sexy and boyish at the same collection and at the same outfit. Seems impossible but the result looks good.

It's playing: Phoenix – Too Young

Looks on the right:

Tomboy T-shirt /

Black leather rock jacket

Grey T-shirt with washed effect /

Black jacket and shorts shiny outfit /

White transparent top /

Black transparent T-shirt with pocket /

Coachella 2013 streetsyle

We all know Coachella it's more about streetsyle and fashion trends than music, but there we find every year the best flower-power outfits and this great peace and love soul wich makes it carachteristic.

What's more, some Victoria's Angels, actors, singers... they all go the most talked "music" event of the year. A kind of runway in the grass where the "what are you wearing?" becomes more important than "who are you going to listen to?"

The perfect trio, almost a must: denim shorts, square sunglasses and flowers.

Just to put some music: The Dandy Warhols – Bohemian Like You

Saint Laurent Paris 2013: From a fairy tale to an androginy grunge project

The french fashion house seems to be changing it's soul and taking a change with the original name "Yves Saint Laurent". They annunced that the firm was going to be named since then Saint Laurent, something really unexpected for all the planet fashionists (included me).

If Saint Laurent was known to be a classic firm with conservative photos and models, now we can see a more androginy shoots where female models play to be a man in the Spring Summer 2013 Man's campaign or old rock music stars and it girls facing the Hedi Slimane's camera.

Saskia de Brauw is the face of it's man's campaign, an idea that could seem crazy but when I saw the shoot I thought it was one of the best shootings I had ever seen. Judje it yourself:

To promote their Spring Summer 2013 collection they have done a music project with the old punk and grunge stars, maybe forgotten ones since the last decade: Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love and Kim Gordon.
Hedi Slimane wanted to do something distinct and has photographed a grunge, hard, shocking, rupturist images. Saint Laurent has left it's fairy tale and welcomed it's gone bad.

So welcome to the new Yves Saint Laurent. Good girls gone bad.

Beautiful Barcelona I

Yesterday we had a beautiful sunday in Barcelona. The streets were crowded of people looking for the sun, and expecting the summer to come early. Maybe you already know some places of Barcelona because of Vicky Cristina Barcelona film, an artistic shot of the city and it's people by Woody Allen.

So I thought it was a good moment to have a walk and picture it :)

At the Agbar tower. It offers a beautiful light show when the sun goes down.
